Who is Grant Cardone?
Grant Cardone is a professional sales trainer and speaker on leadership, entrepreneurship, real estate investing, marketing, social media and finance.
He was born on March 21, 1958 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
His stockbroker father, Curtis, died of a heart attack when Grant was just ten years old, but he said his father was a huge influence on him.
Grant’s mother raised seven children on her own.
As a youngster, Grant explained that he started smoking marijuana before moving on to stronger drugs, including amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine and crack.
He overdosed three times and struggled with addiction for nine years.
“Drugs would become a massive, massive, everyday problem for me between the ages of 16 and 25,” he told NarcoNon.
He tried to get clean for several years, and failed. It wasn’t until he had an argument with his mother that Grant checked himself into a rehab facility.
Grant began a career in sales – which he initially hated – but said he threw himself into the role and became extremely good at it.
He has since written eight books, runs more than 13 business programs, and manages seven businesses. He is known for his 10X Growth conference.
