Job description and requirements
Round Hill Records is a full-service independent label dedicated to the long-term development of artists, with a diverse group of sub-labels primarily focused on the rock genre. We are looking for an experienced Merchandise and E-Commerce Manager to oversee global merchandise and e-store operations for our artists and label. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of our merchandising business and requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for merchandise and direct-to-consumer e-commerce marketing. This position will be based in Nashville.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage product lines and logistics of all merchandise-related activities globally (including e-commerce, retail and touring) for our artists and label
- Oversee the merchandise production chain, including ideation, design solicitation, manufacturing, logistics, marketing, sales and administration
- Coordinate with artist management on tour merchandising plans, screenings and logistics
- Maximize our merchandising opportunities with physical and digital retailers
- Liaise with our existing suppliers and distributors to identify new areas and territories for expansion
- Execute logistics and marketing campaigns for the online store; integrate merchandise initiatives and sales targets into overall artist and album plans
- Work with our marketing team to oversee all merchandise related content, social media and ad campaigns
- Collaborate with RHM to create engaging products featuring our strong group of writers and publishing catalog
- Manage all seasonal online store events and artist pre-order campaigns
- Work directly with our finance and operations team to track accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as manage and track inventory
- Work directly with the operations team to research, close and maintain merchandise deals with our artists and managers
Requirements
- 3+ years of music merchandise experience
- Must possess a passion for music, especially rock music
- Strong project management and multitasking skills
- Strong teamwork, organizational and time management skills
- Mastery of the Microsoft suite
- Experience in artist relations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Merchandising or related field preferred
