On the occasion of the Philippines Independence Day, leading online job portal JobStreetin partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is launching its week-long Virtual Career Fair which runs from June 13-17 with the aim of providing various job opportunities to the workforce Filipino work.
This collaboration is also a way to empower job seekers and celebrate the freedom they have in choosing a career path that matches their lifestyle and priorities.
Candidates can explore more than 75,000 jobs, whether remote, provincial or entry-level positions in more than a hundred companies such as ePLDT, JPMorgan Chase Bank, BDO Unibank, SM Retail, BMI, ABS- CBN, Accenture, Wilcon Depot and Suite.
In general, the main work from home jobs are encoder, engineer, office staff, virtual assistant, architect, information technology roles and many more. New graduates can also check out some entry-level positions available, including customer service representative, administrative assistant, salespersons, clerical staff, among others.
In Luzon, the best opportunities available for candidates are Customer Service Representative, Sales, Teacher, Engineer, Administrative Assistant, System Developer, etc. Meanwhile, in Visayas and Mindanao, job seekers can apply for positions such as Teacher, Administrative Assistant, Administrative Officer. , medical personnel, etc.

JobStreet says the country is experiencing “the big shakeup,” a phase where employees leave their jobs in search of more fulfilling roles that offer the flexibility they seek. According to their 2021 Global Talent Survey, 67% of Filipino employees have chosen to put their health and well-being before work.
Additionally, 53% of employees would prefer to keep a remote work setup even if it means 10 extra hours of extra work per week, and 41% would accept lower pay as long as they can move to a more affordable location.
